How the count is worked out
Each side of the canvas is divided by the drill size and rounded down, so a 40 × 50 cm canvas with 2.5 mm square drills is 160 × 200 = 32,000 drills. Buy around 10% extra of each color to allow for drills that get lost or damaged.
